 David Wolfgram is the founder of Go Roma and the chief executive officer of Forklift Brands, its parent company. In 1979, he joined Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (LEYE), a multi-concept restaurant company.
Wolfgram began with LEYE at R.J. Grunts, LEYE's first restaurant concept, and later developed Rupert's steakhouse. In 1985, he became director of operations at the Pump Room, LEYE's famed celebrity haunt in Chicago.
In 1989, Wolfgram became a vice president and managing partner of LEYE. Next, he started Papagus Greek Taverna. It was labeled one of the "Best 25 New Restaurants in the United States" by Esquire magazine.
In 1991, Wolfgram co-founded Maggiano's Little Italy and the Corner Bakery Cafˇ, later acquired by Brinker International. In 2004, Wolfgram partnered with GESD Capital Partners to create Forklift Brands which now operates Boudin Bakery and Go Roma.
